Click PDF

Everyday PDF tasks, made simple.

Click PDF is a free online PDF toolkit from Click eCommerce. Bring documents together, extract the pages you need, turn images into PDFs, add text and signatures, or save PDF pages as images—all through a straightforward web interface.

Free to use. Regularly improving.

Click PDF is free to use, and new features are being added regularly. It is also open source under the MIT licence. Whether you are organising paperwork, preparing documents for work or sharing a few selected pages, Click PDF gives you practical tools in one place.

What can you do with Click PDF?

  • Merge PDFs: Combine multiple PDF files into one document and choose the order before merging.
  • Split and extract pages: Keep selected pages, split a document into page ranges, or save pages as individual PDF files.
  • Convert images to PDF: Create PDFs from images such as JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF, with page size, orientation and layout options.
  • Edit and annotate PDFs: Add text, highlights, check marks, drawings and images using a visual editor with page previews and undo/redo.
  • Add a signature: Draw a signature or upload a signature image and place it on your chosen page. This adds a visual signature, rather than a certificate-based digital signature.
  • Convert PDF pages to images: Save the first page or every page as PNG or JPEG images. This tool processes your PDF in your browser without uploading it.

Get started in a few clicks

  1. Open Click PDF and choose a tool marked Available.
  2. Select or drag in your files, then choose your settings.
  3. Run the tool, check the result and download your finished file.

For tools that generate files on the server, download your results in the same browser session within one hour. File size and page limits vary by tool; check the options shown before processing.

More features on the way

Click PDF is actively developing. Tools marked Coming Soon are not available yet. Planned areas include page rotation, compression, watermarking and more conversion options. Check back regularly to see what has been added.

A few useful things to know

Most tools upload files to the Click PDF server for processing; PDF to Image runs entirely in your browser. Generated downloads are temporary. Keep a copy of your original document and review your result before sharing it.

White-out and text replacement cover existing content but do not securely remove it. Do not use these features to redact confidential information.
